The Lys river near the Balloken in Wervik
This spot is situated just in the back of my factory. After many attempts to find water mites during my lunch time I was very suprised to find some of them in this rather degraded river with many factory (textile, dyeing, chemical…) in the neighbourhood.
The water is rather muddy and don’t smell good.
Water mite found the 21th of June 2012.
- This Arrenurus female.
- A deutonymph unidentified.
Unfortunately, the sound taken on the spot doesn’t give the industrial vibes that can be strongly felt in real life.
