In his book « Deutschlands Hydrachniden », R. Piersig had produced a important step in the knowledge of the water mites of germany and more generally from Europe.
As I’m trying to check if this water mite is an Hygrobates longipalpis, I’ve tried to find other Hygrobates which can compete for the identification of this particular one.
In this article, I will present the drawings published in this famous book.
