On my site I’ve decided to follow an up-to-date taxonomy. Under the water mite categorie, I begin with the superfamily identified in the Acari II of Gerecke 2010.

Some ressources on the web for the taxonomy classification :

  • NCBI : probably the best reference for Taxonomy.
  • ZipcodeZoo : A lot of genus not already included in the NCBI database are registered in Zipcodezoo.
