The first time I encountered an arrenurus male with its cauda well developped was the 2 June 2011 in Saint Martin Au Laërt.
I was very pleased to find one and thought immediately to the illustration in the book of Otho Fridericus Müller : Hydrachnae, quas in aquis Daniae palustribus.

My discovery was not the same specie, it was Arrenurus securiformis and it was a great day for me, a day in which I had the feeling of having found a very pleasant hobby for my old days.
