Deutonymph - dorsal
As the there is no genital opening and only 2 pair of acetabula I think this water mite is not a mature one IE a Deutonymph. Usually, to identify a deutonymph an hydracarologist use the other specimen of mature water mites caught on the same spot. But as the only other is an Arrenurus female and because this deutonymph doesn’t look like this arrenurus, I won’t try to identify it unless, as this spot is just near my factory, I find a mature specimen which can match this deutonymph.
Caught in the Lys River the 21 of June 2012.
